FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What Is neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is a technique in which we train the brain to help improve its ability to regulate all bodily functions and to take care of itself. When the brain is not functioning well, evidence of this often shows up in the EEG (Electroencephalogram). By challenging the brain, much as you challenge your body in physical exercise, we can help your brain learn to function better.

What are the benefits of neurofeedback?

Many healthy people living rich and varied lives benefit from neurofeedback. Musicians, golfers, students, athletes, meditators, and executives train with neurofeedback to improve focus, clarity, calmness, balance, attention span, memory, and creativity, or to reduce anxiety and the effects of stress.

A better functioning brain can improve sleep patterns. When you sleep more efficiently, you are more alert during the day. It can help with anxiety and depression, and with syndromes like migraine or chronic pain.

Is neurofeedback right for me?

There is no right or wrong answer to this question. We suggest that you book a consultation with one of our mental health specialists to determine whether or not neurofeedback is right for you.

Do you provide other services?

Yes. We provide rehabilitation and intensive outpatient feedback services for our patients seeking treatment. We offer individual, family, and group therapy sessions. We also offer medical services as well as medication management services for our patients as well. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require additional information.
